Length, height and gates

Different heights across the ground? Add a run for each part of the fence. We build heights from 45 to 155 cm.

How do I measure the fence?

A tape measure and five minutes. Measure roughly — we take the exact measurements ourselves before anything is built. This is just to get the estimate close.

1 · Measure the length along the ground, following the fence line

Walk where the fence will stand and measure along the ground, following the line — not through the air and not diagonally. If the fence turns a corner, add both legs together. Round up to the nearest half metre: 8.5 beats 8.3.

2 · One run = one straight stretch at one height

If the ground falls away, or the fence steps down, that is two runs and not one. The same goes if one stretch is lower to keep a view. Add a run for each and give each its own length and height — the estimate adds the metres up.

3 · Height is from the finished ground to the top of the fence

From the ground you will be standing on, not from the bottom of a wall or a footing. If the fence sits on a low wall, measure the fence only — the wall is not our part. If in doubt, enter the height you want to see and we will match it on site.

4 · Measure gates separately, as the clear opening

The opening between the posts or walls, where the gate actually passes. Do not subtract gates from the fence length — just tell us how many and which kind; their price and the exact opening are settled in the quote.

5 · Do not count the posts

Post spacing, how many there are and how they are anchored are ours to decide, against the height and the ground. You give the total length; the rest is our job.

Not sure? Put in an approximate figure and send a photo of the spot with the enquiry — a photograph shows the ground, the access and the slope, and that often tells us more than a decimal place does.

HOW THE ESTIMATE WORKS

How the estimate is calculated — before you type anything.

The configurator does not hide the formula. The price per metre is fixed per model, and all you enter is how many metres you need and at what height. Everything below applies to both lines equally.

Runs (dionice)

A fence is entered as runs. A run is one uninterrupted stretch of fence at a single height — if the ground has two levels, that is two runs. For each one you enter the length in metres and pick a height; the estimate adds up the metres of every run.

Bura or Jugo

The only difference is how the louvre sits. Bura has straight louvres, Jugo angled ones — set at an angle so they close the view from the street while letting air and light through from above. The material is the same: powder-coated aluminium in the RAL colour of your choice. The price per metre differs by model, not by location.

A flat rate per metre

The chosen price per metre is multiplied by the total length. There is no surcharge for a colour from the RAL chart, and none for any height inside the range we build. Gates and bespoke structures are charged per unit and stay out of the estimate — their price comes in the quote.

The price per metre covers making the fence, VAT included. Gates, stairs and bespoke structures are charged per unit, and delivery is arranged — or you collect from the workshop in Seget Donji. Every line appears in the quote before you commit to anything.

For larger quantities Ivan applies a discount. We do not state the amount here because it depends on the project — it comes in the quote.

At the end the configurator does not send an order anywhere in the background: it assembles the enquiry text, shows it to you before sending, and opens it in WhatsApp. Ivan answers personally. It is an indicative estimate, not a quote — the formal quote follows within 48 hours on working days.
