Every weld on a boat goes through root protection and passivation before polishing — that exact point is otherwise the first to let corrosion in during the first winter. We work for private boats and charter fleets from Marina Baotić and the marinas around it. We carry the same standard onto garden railings and handrails.
POOLS AND SEA ACCESS
Chlorine and salt vapour attack the same material in the same way.
A railing beside a pool stands in chlorine and humidity all season — we apply the same rule to handrails and steps on the way down to the water, over rock or concrete. The anchoring is the most vulnerable point there: bolts and plates work permanently submerged or splashed, so we choose 316L without exception — even where we would suggest 304 for the dry part of the same railing. Every location is different — the slope of the rock, the water level, the number of steps down — so this kind of work is always made to the terrain, with a photograph of the spot as the starting point.
