The infill can be vertical bars, cables or toughened glass. We choose the stainless grade by the distance from the sea — by the same rule as for fences.

Which infill can I choose for a stair railing?
Vertical bars, cables or toughened glass. The infill, the span between posts and the anchoring all affect the price, so we state them in the quote.
Which stainless steel for a handrail by the sea?
The same rule as for fences: within a kilometre of the sea 316L, from one to five kilometres 304 is acceptable, and further inland it is entirely sufficient. The full table and the reason are in our salt-air guide.
How much does a stainless handrail or stair railing cost?
