How quickly do I get a quote?
We send an indicative quote within 48 hours on working days, based on your photo and measurements. The exact price is confirmed after a survey on site.
Is installation included in the price?
We do not install. The price per metre covers making the fence, VAT included — we deliver it to your address or you collect it from the workshop in Seget Donji, ready to fit. Gates, stairs and bespoke structures are charged per unit.
Why is 316L dearer than 304, and do I have to take it?
316L contains about 2 % molybdenum, which makes it considerably more resistant to the chlorides in salt air. Within 1 km of the sea we recommend it without exception; beyond 5 km, 304 is entirely sufficient and we will not charge you for something you do not need.
Do you work outside Trogir and Split?
Yes — the whole of Split-Dalmatia and Šibenik-Knin county, the islands included by arrangement. For boats we also do repairs during the season; the workshop is a five-minute drive from Marina Baotić.
How much does a fence cost per metre?
Bura, with straight louvres, starts at 135 €/m. Jugo, with angled louvres, at 150 €/m. Both are per linear metre and cover making the fence, VAT included. Gates, stairs and bespoke structures are charged per unit; delivery is arranged, or you collect from the workshop.
How does the online configurator work, and does the estimate commit me to anything?
You pick a model, enter the length and height of each run and add gates if you need them. The configurator multiplies the total length by the price of the model you chose and assembles an enquiry you send on WhatsApp. It is an indicative estimate, not a quote — the formal quote comes from us within 48 hours on working days, and nothing commits you until then.
Do you build bespoke railings, in stainless steel or combined with glass?
Yes. Bura and Jugo are two standard models with a published price per metre; everything else — bespoke stainless, combinations with toughened glass, handrails and staircases — is built to a survey and priced by quote only. Send a photo of the spot and rough measurements.
How do I measure the fence before sending an enquiry?
A tape measure and five minutes — we take the exact measurements ourselves before anything is built. Measure the length along the ground, following the line where the fence will stand, not through the air and not diagonally; if the fence turns a corner, add both legs together. Round up to the nearest half metre (8.5 beats 8.3). Measure the height from the finished ground to the top of the fence — from the ground you will be standing on, not from the bottom of a wall or footing; if the fence sits on a low wall, measure the fence only. We build heights from 45 to 155 cm.
What is a run, and when do I need more than one?
A run is one uninterrupted stretch of fence at one height. If the ground falls away, or the fence steps down, that is two runs and not one — the same goes if one stretch is deliberately lower to keep a view. Each run gets its own length and height, and the estimate adds the metres up. If the whole fence is level and one height, one run is enough.
How do I measure gates, and do I subtract them from the fence length?
Do not subtract them. Measure gates separately, as the clear opening — the gap between the posts or walls that the gate passes through. In the configurator you only say how many gates you need and which kind (single-leaf, double-leaf or sliding); their price and the exact opening are settled in the quote. Do not count posts either: their spacing, number and anchoring are ours to decide against the height and the ground.
